Flyers fan loses her mind on Sunday night.

Flyers fan isn't happy.

In spite of the fact that the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is known worldwide as "The city of Brotherly Love," the reality is that over the last several years the sports fans in the city of Philly have more than earned their reputation as some of the most passionate, hardcore, and downright ruthless fans in all of sports.

There are of course a number of incidents that have helped cement that reputation over many years, some more infamous than others. I'm sure many hockey fans will remember this now infamous moment involving a fan in Philadelphia and former National Hockey League enforcer Tie Domi. I doubt very much you're ever going to see something like this in the modern era of the sport.

And there is of course the infamous incident dating back to 1968 in which Philly fans decided to pelt poor old Santa Claus with a shower of snowballs, perhaps one of the most infamous moments in North American sports history.

While our latest example certainly isn't going to rank up with those, we got another glimpse into the madness that can be the passionate fan base of Philadelphia over the weekend when one Flyers fan decided to express her anger at fans of the opposing team.

In a hilarious accident, NBC Sports California caught an angry Flyers fan having a complete meltdown on Sunday night after the  San Jose Sharks scored the first goal of the game at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Sunday night. As you might expect at any hockey game, there were a few fans cheering on the away team scattered throughout the building, a few of whom were seated right in front of our angry Flyers fan.

After the Sharks scored the first goal those fans jumped up to celebrate, only for our angry Philly fan to let them know exactly what she thought of their celebration. The angry fan can, rather clearly, be seen screaming the words "You f***ing pieces of sh*t" at around the 16 second mark of the video. I don't think NBC Sports California even noticed the tirade in the stands, but thankfully some of the sharp-eyed hockey fans tuning in noticed right away.
