Flashback: Henrik Lundqvist stones Danny Briere's penalty shot attempt late in 2012 Winter Classic

It's truly the end of an era in the National Hockey League, as goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has decided to call it a career after 15 seasons. The 2012 Vezina Trophy winner and five-time All-Star had to undergo open heart surgery prior to last season, keeping him off the ice and preventing his ever suiting up for the Washington Capitals following a buyout from the New York Rangers. 

Nicknamed "The King", Ludqvist provided hockey fans with no shortage of memories over the course of his time with the Rangers.
