Elliotte Friedman makes bold suggestion for Jakob Chychrun trade that could piss off the defenseman!
I like it, do you?

Arizona Coyotes defenseman is literally sitting around, waiting to be traded. He has already sat three games. The Los Angeles Kings remain the favourites to land Chychrun at the moment, but they are also looking to include goalie Cal Petersen in a deal, which seems to be a no-go. As Sportsnet’ Elliotte Friedman puts it in his 32 Thoughts column: “One theory is simple: that the Kings have a standing offer, and the Coyotes don’t like it enough to accept.”
Friedman however goes a step further and suggested a bold trade including the top two defenseman on the market. He believes that if the Columbus Blue Jackets do end up trading out Vladislav Gavrikov, they should make a play for Chychrun.
“Columbus moves Gavrikov and uses the return assets to try and add Chychrun. They’ve been interested in the Arizona D-man before and he has term.”
However, Friedman comments that he doubts Chychrun would be pleased with a move to Columbus.
“I don’t think Chychrun would be happy. At all. That’s an enormous sell job for the Blue Jackets, especially because he was promised a trade to a contender. Columbus wants to send a message to its fans that this season was unacceptable, but it’s a long road back.”
I guess when it comes to Chychrun, despite him sitting out, we better be patient.
