In case you missed it last night the Toronto Maple Leafs absolutely waxed the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 6-2 in a fairly lopsided affair. But, if you're a Kings fan you could at least take solace in the fact that rookie Sean Durzi scored his first career goal in a very special moment.

Check out Durzi sniping bar down against his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs with his parents in attendance:

I doesn't get much better than that if you're a hockey parent!

Just look at the raw emotion from Durzi's parents, especially his mother:

That's an expression that just screams, "It was ALL worth it!"

Oh... and if you needed proof that Durzi was a diehard Leafs fan growing up, just check out this adorable photo:

The 23 year old rookie was originally drafted by the Leafs back in 2018, but had been traded to the Kings organization in the team's trade for defenseman Jake Muzzin. He has proven himself to be a stellar point producer at the AHL level and there's reason to believe that he'll stick in the NHL with the Kings should he keep filling the net.
