“Thank you very much. You're welcome.” Love this!

The Boston Bruins are absolutely ROLLING to start the 2022-23 NHL season and no one is happier about it than Bruins forward David Pastrnak.

The Bruins are 14-2-0 to start the season and are the class of the entire league. As for Pastrnak he has an incredible nine goals and 25 points in 16 games and has Bruins fans everywhere shouting, "PAY THAT MAN!"

Pastrnak, if you're not familiar, is unsigned past this season and is in line to get absolutely PAID on his next deal. He's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his life this upcoming offseason but he doesn't seem to be feeling all of the pressure that lies on his shoulders. I mean... just check him out goofing around with the media yesterday evening after taking in a big Boston Celtics win. He picks up the microphones and interviews himself prior to the Celtics players heading out for media, going so far as to even thank himself for the interview.

Check it out:

I mean... does that look and sound like a player who's feeling pressure?

Not a chance. That's a guy who's just out there loving life.

And why not?

Like I said, the Bruins are the absolute class of the NHL this season and Pastrnak is thriving alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. It also doesn't hurt that his good buddy and fellow Czech native David Krejci is back in the fold either. Top to bottom the Bruins have been absolutely dominant this season and you have to tab them as the early Stanley Cup favorite just one month into the season.

In a division filled with talented teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs, I wasn't sure where the Bruins would wind up in the standings this year. Teams like the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres all made strides in the offseason while the Bruins didn't really add much. Fans and analysts were predicting a bit of a slide from the B's but here they are at the top of the NHL's standings.
