Coyotes fan punches woman during wild brawl in the stands.

Total carnage.

Jonathan Larivee

This one was ugly.

On Friday night the Boston Bruins travelled to Mullett Arena to take on the Arizona Coyotes and while the game on the ice managed to be a riveting one that went down to the wire, with the Coyotes eventually taking the win 4-3, it apparently wasn't action packed enough to satisfy some of those who were in attendance.

In the opening seconds of the third period a goal from Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz appeared to set off a wild brawl in the stands between a group of Bruins fans and a group of Coyotes fans. Given that the video that has been shared on social media picks up in the middle of the brawl, it's very difficult to gauge honestly what started all of this, but there's no question that things go way too far.

In the video we can see multiple fans throwing punches and being assaulted, including a woman wearing a New England Patriots jersey that appears to be briefly knocked out after being struck by a man wearing a Coyotes shirt.

Here's a look at the carnage:

Thankfully we can see towards the end of the video there are several members of law enforcement that arrive on scene to help break up the brawl in the crowd, and there have been several unconfirmed reports that suggest a number of the people involved were led away from the scene of the brawl in handcuffs.
