Canucks officially fire Bruce Boudreau.

It's finally over.

The Vancouver Canucks have now officially relieved head coach Bruce Boudreau of his duties and it would appear that the rest of his coaching staff will be joining him.

In an official press release on Sunday morning, the Canucks announced that Rick Tocchet will be the 21st head coach in the history of the Canucks organization and that furthermore Sergei Gonchar and Adam Foote will be joining him as members of his coaching staff.

Tocchet is expected to address the media later today, stay tuned for additional details from that press conference.
