Canucks hint at a major announcement.

The Vancouver Canucks are hinting at something big, but it sounds like we're going to have to wait a few hours unless someone decides to spill the beans early.

The Canucks have sent out a media advisory regarding their plans on Monday, plans that include what the team itself has described as a "major news press conference."

The press conference will take place on Monday at 2:30 PM PST, but thus far there appear to have been no hints about what kind of announcement we can expect.

There has however been plenty of speculation and the leading candidate in that regard appears to be some kind of contract extension for Vancouver Canucks captain Bo Horvat. Of course that is purely speculation at this time, so we'll just have to wait and see what comes next.
