Canadiens' Heineman hit by a car, will be out of the lineup 3-4 weeks
Whoa! This is crazy!
According to a report from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, Montreal Canadiens forward Emil Heineman has been hit by a car in Salt Lake City, Utah and will be out of the team's lineup 3-4 weeks with an upper body injury.
UPDATE: The Canadiens have now confirmed the news.
Heineman was reportedly crossing a street in downtown Salt Lake City last night when he was struck by a vehicle. Early indications are that he's okay and he'll make a full recovery but, again, he'll be out of the lineup for at least 3-4 weeks.
The 23 year old Swedish forward has 10 goals and 17 points in 41 games for the Habs this season.
