For folks who are waiting on pins and needles for the decision of Boston Bruins Patrice Bergeron with regards to his future with the team and in the NHL, we may have gotten an unofficial answer.
Assistant captain Brad Marchand was pictured on the ice during a recent photoshoot, and while the camera angle isn't 100% definitive, it looks to the naked eye that there's the captain's "C" on his jersey.
Take a look for yourself and you be the judge.
This has already been a major summer of change for the Bruins, who have already lost scrappy forward Tyler Bertuzzi, who agreed to a one year contract with the rival Toronto Maple Leafs, while Dmitri Orlov has signed with the Carolina Hurricanes. Additionally, they've already shipped both Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Oh, and there's still the matter of whether or not Bergeron's fellow veteran and longtime Bruins forward David Krejci is going to give it one more go.
Stay tuned Bruins fans, because major official news could be released in the near future.
