It is the time of year where everyone is supposed to gather with their loved ones and celebrate the good things in life, but unfortunately for many people that can be a lot harder than it sounds.

Even more unfortunate than that is the fact that young children are included in that group, especially those who are currently sick in hospital and unable to be at home where they would no doubt much prefer to spend the holiday season.

Thankfully there are wonderful people out there in the world who do their best to bring a smile to their faces in spite of their difficult circumstances, and fortunately included in that group are many of the Boston Bruins.

In the latest edition of the Bruins' 'Behind the B' documentary following the team, it was revealed that several members of the Bruins roster recently went on a shopping spree to buy toys for kids currently stuck spending the holidays in a hospital bed.

There were many Bruins who participated in the event including Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron, forwards Nick Foligno and David Pastrnak, defenseman Charlie McAvoy and many more as they came away with quite the haul of toys. Perhaps no one was prouder though than Nick Foligno who practically roared with victory after stuffing his shopping cart to the brim with toys.

"I nailed it!" exclaimed Foligno as he walked down the aisle with his shopping cart. "I nailed it this year, my wife would be so proud. 30 minutes.

"Look at that!" he practically shouted while pointing to his cart. "Look at that."
