The face of the NHL is a little less pretty after tonight.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby won't be flashing his smile for a little while.
On Tuesday night Crosby was the victim of a high-stick from Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane. To be perfectly honest, at first glance it looked like Crosby may have embellished this one a little, that was definitely not the case.
Cameras have since caught a close-up of Crosby's mouth, and it definitely looks like there has been some serious damage to his front teeth. Right now all we've got is a still to show you, but we will continue to work to try and find a video of the play.
Update: Here's a video from "Sabres Fanatics" mocking Crosby for diving. As we said earlier, it looked dramatic but it clearly was a serious high-stick.
Now here's a look at Crosby's teeth.
