Brawl breaks out on Matt Rempe bobblehead night.

A Matt Rempe bobblehead night turned into a brawl on Saturday as all hell broke loose.

A night dedicated to New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe has resulted in a brawl during an American Hockey League game between the Hartford Wolf Pack and the Rochester Americans.

Saturday night was Matt Rempe night at the XL Center in Hartford and perhaps unsurprisingly things turned ugly between the Wolf Pack and the Americans. This one had everything with players pairing up all over the ice and even the goalies attempting to throw down as all hell broke loose on the ice. Unfortunately the two netminders wouldn't get their chance to trade blows as one AHL official was determined to prevent the goalie fight from taking place.

There were plenty of other fights on the ice though, so many in fact that the camera operators for the AHL struggled to capture all of the action on different parts of the ice.

The fans in the crowd loved every second of it and some of them even captured an overhead view of the chaos on the ice. Below you can see a short video of the brawl on the ice from a different angle:

The Wolf Pack had announced earlier this month that tonight would be Matt Rempe bobblehead night, so it does seem fitting that a night dedicated to the popular enforcer should result in fisticuffs all over the ice.
