Auston Matthews melts hearts with incredible gesture

Toronto Maple Leafs superstar forward Auston Matthews continues to be on an absolute tear, leading the National Hockey League in goal scoring with an incredible 40 goals in just 46 games and easily pacing to reach the 70 mark for the first time in his career. 

Naturally, he's representing the Maple Leafs at this year's All-Star game in Toronto, but before the festivities officially begin later this evening, he paid it forward in the community in a major and heart-melting way. Not only did he surprise a group of young kids as part of the Make-A-Wish foundation, but also had a special birthday greeting for one particular youngster:

The All-Star skills competition will officially get underway from Scotiabank Arena later this evening starting at 7:00 PM EST.
