An emotional Ben Bishop is forced to retire due to injury

Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop has been forced to retire from the NHL at 35 years old due to debilitating injuries.

The three time Vezina Trophy nominee has had several knee surgeries over the past two seasons, but just can't seem to get himself back to full health. With his quality of life on the line and with a young family at home, Bishop was forced to make the tough decision to hang up the skates for good today.
