In case you have not noticed, Steve Mason may have the most incredible goalie mask in the NHL. Mason's mask, which was which was designed by local Philly artist Fran Drummond, features zombified inmates and his bulldog George.
The zombies are actually inmates of Philadelphia's famed Eastern State Penitentiary. Most notable is zombie Al Capone, who was sent to the ESP in 1929 for gun charges.
“Beware of Bullies” can also be seen as Mason pays tribute to the hard nosed brand of hockey the Flyers are known for.
This work of art is truly a masterpiece.
