What a man.

It's only the second of January but this may go down as one of the most emotional hockey interviews of the year.

Team Finland suffered a crushing defeat at the World Junior Championship on Tuesday, a loss that has now once again secured an early exit for the Finns for the second year in a row.

After the game 19-year-old defenseman Juuso Valimaki, Team Finland's captain, came out of the locker room to give an interview despite the fact that he was clearly overcome with emotion in the moment.

While it's obvious that Valimaki was very sad, his voice remained stoic throughout the interview. It was an impressive level of composure from the emotional young man and it's easy to see why he was chosen as the leader of this current squad.

No shame in shedding tears in a heartbreaking moment like this.
