Breaking: T.J. Oshie drills Logan Couture head first into the boards at the World Cup.

The game between Team Canada and Team USA on Friday is an exhibition but it sure doesn't look like it.

Things got real physical fairly early on and we saw a number of good hits including Boston Bruins forward David Backes crushing his former St. Louis Blues teammate Alex Pietrangelo into the corner boards.

However it also featured a particularly ugly hit, as moments ago Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie drilled Sharks forward Logan Couture head first into the boards from an awkward angle. 

Needless to say Couture was shaken up on this hit.
