Milan Lucic punches a linesman right in the mouth.

It was a rough night for NHL officials who were on the end of some pretty rough stuff on Wednesday night.

First we had Calgary Flame Dennis Wideman absolutely obliterating an official with a huge hit from behind, a video that caught fire online and provoked some very polarizing discussion about whether or not the hit was intetional.

As if that wasn't bad enough Los Angeles King Milan Lucic ended up punching a linesman right in the mouth on the very same night, although in Lucic's case it appeared to be clearly accidental as he was aiming for an opposing player in a scrum.

Nonetheless NHL officials certainly earned their pay on Wednesday.
