A 14-year-old boy has been killed in a senseless tragedy.

A promising young Russian hockey player was brutally murdered by his own teammates in what is being called a locker room brawl, although to be honest it sounds more like the attack of a vicious mob.

According to multiple reports the attack occurred after the players, most of which are older than the victim, learned that the young man had been promoted to the team's top line over those older players.
