According to a report from insider Bob McKenzie the Edmonton Oilers are closing in on a deal that would see them trading former first overall pick Taylor Hall to the New Jersey Devils. McKenzie did not elaborate on the details of a potential deal.
However another report from Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed that the Oilers were targeting Adam Larsson at the draft and even had discussion involving a potential Hall/Larsson trade with other parts involved.
This could very well be the deal the Oilers are closing in on now with the Devils.
